BethAmy Center has been serving the needs of clients since 1959. Family owned and operated, we strive to serve clients in a home type atmosphere, meeting their needs with activities of daily living in the least restrictive atmosphere as possible. Our great success has been made possible because our clients feel BethAmy is their home and they are part of our family.
We use the Eden Alternative approach, activities that are physically challenging and lots of day trips to challenge clients to keep the pace of the normal daily routines they have had at home. We coordinate their care with their physician, dentist, therapist, YMCA, optometrist, mental health or any other clinical care that is appropriate for their best health care needs.
Our clients enjoy their privacy as the majority of our rooms are private with semi-private or private bathrooms available. Our prices are affordable; starting at $1600 to $2500 per month. Our services include 3 meals, 3 snacks, medication management program, a house phsyician, nurse, house psychiatrist and psychologist each week, eye docotr anpediatrist, daily activity programs, onsite beauty and barber salon and transportation to doctor and hospital appointments.
Residents may participate in fishing trips, summer trips to the mountians and coast and weekly shopping trips.
We are proud of the work we do with our Veteran clients and the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Hosptial in Salibury and we have received recognition VA Community Care Program for the past three years. We have also received the Spencer Community Appearance Award for the past three years!
